Well-vetted gifts by PDSA are alternative gifts for pet lovers that will make a real difference to a sick or injured pet. Well-vetted gifts are 'virtual gifts' that can be bought for friends and family, they are ideal for all occasions such as birthdays, Christmas and anniversaries and, best of all, they help PDSA to provide vital veterinary services to animals whose owners simply can't afford veterinary care.
How do well-vetted gifts work?
Choose a well-vetted gift to buy for your friend or family member then choose a greetings card and personalise the message inside. We can then send the card directly to you, your friend or family member containing details of the gift you have purchased and details of how it will make a difference to sick and injured pets.
How do you choose the well-vetted gifts and how do you price them?
All well-vetted gifts have been suggested by our vets as the things they really need every day to look after their pet patients. Gift values are based on average costs that were correct in June 2009.
Will my money fund the actual well-vetted gift?
When you buy a well-vetted gift you are making a donation of that value to help PDSA provide vital veterinary services to 350,000 pet patients. All gifts will go towards helping sick and injured pets across the UK. PDSA will spend the money where it is most required to provide their veterinary services to sick and injured pets.
Can I order a well-vetted gift from outside the UK? Can I have a well-vetted gift delivered outside the UK?
Orders and deliveries are from/to UK mainland addresses only.
Are there any delivery charges?
No.

You can contact us on 0800 917 2509 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please have your order details handy to discuss a specific order.
When will I receive my well-vetted gift?
Your well-vetted gift will be despatched within three working days from the receipt of your order. All well-vetted gifts will be sent by Royal Mail First Class post. If you have specified a date for the card to be sent during the order process it will be despatched on the date you specified (please allow at least 3 working days from your order date to the despatch date you have specified).
Can you send me a catalogue?
Yes, you just need to complete your details on our request a catalogue page and this will be with sent out to you within three working days.
Sponsor a pet better - What is this?
PDSA cares for over 350,000 pet patients. Some of them have conditions like diabetes, heart disease, asthma and arthritis. Poorly pets like these can never be cured, but with our help and yours they can live happy, healthy lives.
Buy this gift for a loved one and help one of our pet patients get the ongoing treatment it needs for a long term illness. We have a selection of gorgeous pets all of which are desperate for sponsors today. Give this as a gift to a pet lover and they'll receive a lovely gift box containing a cuddly toy, certificate, photo and a vet report.
Simply choose the pet you wish to sponsor for someone. You can pay monthly (min. 12 months of £5 a month) whilst your payments continue we will send your gift recipient newsletters and updates on their pet. You can also pay yearly (£60 per year).
